Drive stakes and rebar, shatter stone and concrete, and perform heavy demolition projects with the hard hitting power of this Estwing sledge hammer. Designed and built for heavy-duty use, this hammer features a forged alloy steel head that is case hardened to 50-55 HRC to withstand years of repeated impacts without deforming. This head is mounted to a 36-inch long, indestructible handle that consists of an ergonomic shock-absorbing vulcanised rubber handle overlay that hides 6 spring steel bars that run its full length providing exceptional overstrike protection in addition to additional impact force. Steel locking plates and a specialised bonding process secure the head to the handle and ensure that it never loosens. For added confidence and convenience when working and for storage the handle also has a steel reinforced lanyard hole at the base to allow for a wrist strap or hanging loop to be attached without fear that it will tear free over time from wear.
A Dead Blow Hammer is a mallet like tool used to absorb tremors that occur when the hammer strikes. It is a useful tool in that it prevents damage to soft surfaces, while reducing the amount of rebound and improving the striking force of the hammer.
Dual injection fibreglass handle for increased strength and durability. 25% wider neck provides overstrike protection. Demolition side allows for all the difficult tasks or requirements around the worksite.
