The Atlas Copco X-LITE Flat Air Hose has been developed to overcome many of the handling challenges associated with traditional heavy rubber air hoses. By using advanced lightweight materials and a reinforced flat construction, Atlas Copco has created a hose that is easier to transport, deploy, recover, and store without compromising strength or performance.
Its flat profile allows the hose to roll neatly and occupy minimal storage space, making it ideal for service vehicles, mobile compressors, construction sites, and underground mining operations where storage space is limited.
Internally, the hose features interlocked woven reinforcement fibres that provide excellent tensile strength and high burst resistance. This reinforcement enables the hose to operate safely at working pressures up to 20 bar (290 psi) while maintaining flexibility under continuous use.
The X-LITE comes factory-fitted with forged claw couplings and industrial hose clamps, eliminating the need for on-site assembly and ensuring secure, leak-resistant connections straight out of the box.
Its exceptional flexibility makes the hose easy to lay out across rough terrain and simple to coil after use. Even in low temperatures, the hose remains pliable, reducing the effort required for installation and retrieval.
