With the new DA2 battery tool, Plarad introduces a new powerful successor of the DA1 on the market. A decisive step forward has been achieved with the newest gearbox technology which enables simpler handling, reduced weight and size.
Mobile cordless bolting is now safer due to the additional automatic locking of the motor and gearbox. Several versions of the nut runner are available up to a maximum output of 3,600 Nm. Optional Diagnostic Setting Software (DSS) with power step lock and tool diagnostics enables the tool to be optimally set up for your specific bolting application.

Our Plarad track construction battery nutrunner unit is a solution for bolting operations on rail tracks. We have devised a rack that makes it possible to quickly and easily convert our DA1 battery nut runner into a rail track tool. The operator can use the handles on this rack to operate the tool directly. Equipped with two high-power LED lamps that can be positioned in any position on the rods fitted on the sides, the tool also allows for seamless operation in poor light conditions or in the dark. Since the unit is battery-powered, the track construction worker is no longer tied to heavy power packs or cables while tightening or loosening bolts. Thanks to its low weight, the unit does not require more than one worker to operate it. In contrast to impact wrenches, DA1 units produce significantly less noise and vibration during operation, effectively preventing White Finger syndrome and excessive strain on hands and joints.
